'There' is a word heavy with longing. You may not have found what you were looking for, but somewhere deep inside, the knowing of That Something and the way to get there feels more complete than anything. It feels like a warm, self-baked bun and so right as if it connects you to existence beyond the boundaries of time, space, and skin. It's an inviting flickering light in the trees, a portal to another reality, to what is true for you. The painting was part of my Portals and Diversions - solo exhibition at Tahmela Villa in the spring of 2024.
