I’m holding my heart

I’m holding my heart

I’m holding my heart
whispering tender words
to its fading hope
Nourishing it
with the songs of gentle waters
the unbridled beauty of flowers
with rage
that explodes the earth’s crust
Because
I am that life
The wild
And I allow myself to be

Holding the space to feel again
after the frozen decades
and slowly the delicate melody
becomes stronger
the magic of revival
irresistible significance rises
from the ancient dance of the cells
I live
I breathe!

No more I will bow down to the cramped rooms of fear
not the slightest bit I consent to take away of the miracle I am
but celebrate it
with all my tears and laughter
with my pain and lightness
Like life itself
flaming and crying
giving birth and dying
colorful chaos
the deepest peace
